Sioux Chief Launches HydraRester™ Product Video

HydraRester

Sioux Chief’s HydraRester video explains how HydraRester stops water hammer in a commercial plumbing system using a broad variety of connections for any commercial project.

Rough plumbing manufacturer, Sioux Chief, announced the launch of a new HydraRester product video that enables plumbing contractors and wholesalers to know more about Sioux Chief design innovation, product features and installation techniques.

Originally introduced in 1987, the HydraRester is ASSE 1010 certified as a water hammer arrester that is designed to provide continuous protection, without maintenance allowing the HydraRester to be installed without access panels. The HydraRester has been independently tested at QAI Laboratories to the ASSE 1010 Standard, and has been factory tested to withstand 500,000 cycles without failure.

“The HydraRester leads the nation as a specified arrester perfect for any commercial project. A key feature of the HydraRester is its simple piston design, which allows for the separation of the captured air charge and the plumbing system,” said Rex Baer, Vice President of Product Development at Sioux Chief.

The HydraRester’s male sweat connection is compatible with press-fitting systems, such as Viega ProPress™ and all push-fitting systems.

The new Sioux Chief rough plumbing video series offers plumbing contractors need-to-know information about time, labor and money saving innovations in Sioux Chief’s Supply, Drainage and Support categories.

Sioux Chief products are sold through wholesale plumbing distributors nationwide.
